2009

Beginners to Advanced Classes for Garment construction, Heirloom sewing, evening wear, lingerie, ballroom gowns etc

Rose Organ Head of the House of Briar offers Haute Couture dressmaking classes.
We are very lucky to have Rose Organ on board. Her experience is immeasurable when it comes to fashion as well as Millinery. Tafe qualified in haute cauter fashion and training in France.

When you purchase a commercial pattern they never seem to fit properly. She has suggested that all that attend her class purchase a pattern of their choice and Rose personally fits all students so their pattern and garments fit beautifully To see her at work is amazing. You generally make a couple of garments during the 8 weeks so the small fee that you pay is invaluable considering her wealth experience.

Evening class; Thursday’s –3 hours 6 to 9pm
